About Southern Mudding Guide
Southern Mudding Guide is an independent fan site for the Roblox game Southern Mudding. It is not affiliated with the development group, with Roblox, or with any brand or vehicle named in the game, and it is not an official wiki.
How pages are written
Every page is written against the live game and cross-checked against three kinds of source:
- The official Roblox game page — the description, update notes, and player-facing feature list. The update bullet lists come straight from here.
- Public game data — player counts, visit totals, group membership, badge lists, and product names, captured as dated snapshots.
- Dated community footage — creator videos of the live build, used to confirm how mechanics actually behave (nitrous, the TIV 2 deployment, loading ramps, the map refresh).
One thing worth knowing about this game: it has no fan wiki ecosystem. Unlike many Roblox titles, there is no established community encyclopedia to cross-reference. That means more of what you read here is firsthand verification of footage and official text — and it also means that where something cannot be confirmed yet, the page says so plainly instead of filling the gap with a guess.
Where sources disagree
The clearest current example is pricing. Roblox store pages are the live source of truth, but their prices cannot always be captured programmatically; the numbers on our gamepasses guide come from our last verified snapshot and are labeled with their date. When the store changes, the snapshot stays labeled rather than being silently updated to a number we did not verify.
We only state something as fact when it can be pointed at: an official page, a game prompt, or a documented in-game observation. Anything reported but not yet confirmed is marked as such in the text.
What this site will not do
- It does not publish scripts, exploits, or anything that breaks the game.
- It does not copy official copywriting; descriptions are written in our own words.
- It does not carry guest posts, paid links, or sponsored placements.
- It does not invent codes, prices, or "secret" methods. The codes page is the naked example: the honest answer there is "there are none."
Corrections
Found something wrong, or has a Friday update changed a number? Use the contact page with the page URL and what you saw instead. Corrections are the whole maintenance loop for a live-service game.
Credits and assets
Game imagery on this site is official promotional material used for reference and commentary, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners. Mechanic details are credited on the pages that use them to the footage or source that documented them.
